Estimating Systems – A Foundation for Compliance and Success
March 20, 2024
On March 20, the Coalition hosted Chess Consulting's Mike Tomaselli and David Dishmon for a webinar on Estimating Systems - A Foundation for Compliance and Success.
Building effective proposals is a core capability of successful government contractors and a key element of an effective proposal is its compliance with regulatory requirements. When submitting a bid on a government contract, the contents of a proposal contain a contractor’s offer to perform work at a stated cost or price. The Government is increasingly evaluating proposals for compliance with cost and pricing data requirements, cost realism, commercial pricing disclosures, and estimating system requirements.
During the webinar, Tomaselli and Dishmon discussed current actions being taken by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) to evaluate contractor estimating systems, and walkthrough fundamental elements and practices for building compliant proposals.
