On June 17, 2020, the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC) published this report, summarizing 37 Office of Inspector General’s findings. During their presentation they will discuss common concerns among agencies that have received approximately $2.4 trillion in federal spending to address the public health and economic crises resulting from the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Given the amount of money at issue, the need to distribute aid quickly, and the use of grants and loans to disburse funds, effectively managing the programs funded by these bills presents a significant challenge to many executive branch agencies and to the government contractors that received this funding.
During this session they will cover:
- Insight into the most frequently reported challenges
- Compliance concerns for government contractors
- Mandatory disclosure obligations
- Preparing for likely audits and investigations
