Webinar: What Contractors Need to Know About NIST 800-171

The Coalition for Government Procurement and AMSUS-SM are pleased to co-host a webinar on NIST 800-171 for both AMSUS-SM and Coalition members on November 7 at 12 noon EST.  Our guest speaker will be Victoria Yan Pillitteri, a supervisory computer scientist in the Computer Security Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

 

Victoria will discuss:

  • What Contractors Need to Know about the NIST SP 800-171 Guidance
  • Its relationship to DoD and VA Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements
  • NIST’s efforts to update this guidance to protect against current and future cybersecurity threats
  • What updates to the NIST SP 800-171 guidance mean for contractors, especially small businesses
